Why Won't Anyone Let Me Sleep
Late Night Review

Well, apparently the best time to attack a party is while they are sleeping. At least, that is what the bandits who attacked us thought. We easily dispatched them due to the fact that not many of us have to actually sleep (except for Vanost, he was asleep the whole time. But, while I am up I would like to simply recap. First fact, Quaraah was possessed by Demogorgon the whole time. Second fact, Quaraah gathered all of the adventurer’s for some reason. That reason was Demogorgon. No idea why he wants us yet. Third fact, Demogorgon has some history with Houlihan. Fourth fact, Quaraah is no longer himself. He has changed and he has not explained why.
We still have some things to work out….I just hope we can….

so much death...

First, I feel I must apologize for not writing in a while. I felt that I shouldn’t while I was in the cave. We first came upon a band of kobolds and befriended them. They even offered us some of their dragon’s treasure. It’s funny because they serve a white dragon and we have a baby white dragon…crap. Well we befriended them then we found a bunch of scaly, reptilian, kruthiks. We destroyed them. We then found some cultists which Houlihan went crazy on, a slime and a lurker, and more cultists. When we finally made it to the end of the cave we found cultists and demons. But the worst thing was Quaraah he had a horrible visage and two tentacles stretching out of his back. He had been possessed by a horrible demon that we later learned was the mighty Demogorgon. We defeated Quaraah and almost all died but we finally made it out and even got some treasure. We decided to make camp and wait out the night.

The Arrival at the Cave

We finally arrived at the cave and caught up with the masked man. We fought hard and came close to unconsciousness a few times, but Quaraah fainted after we defeated the masked man’s conjurings. After we defeated the masked man he faded away and a band of kobolds came up out of nowhere. We easily defeated them but it was harder because of the previous battle. After we defeated the kobolds, we went to check on Quaraah. When we tried to tell what was wrong with him, he sprang up and ran into the cave screaming with a voice that was not his.

The Search for the Masked Man Begins

I AM SO TIRED!!!! Someone cough cough Rufus cough cough decided that we shouldn’t sleep because we need to catch up with this masked idiot. UGH, well I for one, feel like I need a nap and a nice tall glass of ice cold milk. But it hasn’t even been an entire day and we were already attacked again. Stupid kobolds surprised us out of no where. They put up a good fight but they couldn’t beat us. We defeated them quickly but not before Alexaria fainted and then we took all of their stuff. We are almost to the caverns where the note said that the nasty masters of that stupid masked man are. I know we can catch up to him. I just know it.

First Adventure

So I went to the tavern outside of the town Caister. While I was there, I was talking to the barkeep and telling him about all the adventurers I had ever heard of and then these other people came in. I started to talk to them and the first one I talked to was named Alexaria Twi’Nuth. He came over and sat at the bar while I was talking to the bar tender and we started talking. Then I went over to talk to a man who was sitting all alone at a table named Rufus Swale. He has a weird skin condition, but he was nice. Then I talked to a guy who had come in much earlier named Vanost Andalancalt. He had been sleeping but he woke up and decided to join us. Then they all went and crowed the shadowy figure who had been in the tavern for the last few days. He didn’t like that very much. He slammed his ax into the table.
Then this woman came in and said people were burning stuff and they all ran out and started fighting these people. There were rats and bandits and a small devil and a masked man and a DRAGON! White_dragon_Wyrmling.jpg It was so cool. But they started fighting and the rats died really quick but the bandits lasted a little longer. The scary thing was when the dragon almost ate Houlihan. Then when most of the bandits were dead the imp that had disappeared popped up and almost killed Rufus Swale. The entire time though that stupid masked man was just sitting on top of his stupid cliff. But when we killed the imp, he burst into a ball of flames and the masked man ran away and the dragon stopped attacking us. We decided to keep him. I really want to name him Tiny because he is so tiny for a dragon. But when the masked man ran away he dropped stuff over the cliff and there were magic weapons and stuff! However, Quaraah Agaran-Foreaf tried to hide the stuff from us, but he was stupid and dropped all of it. They each took one of the items and then we all went back to the tavern to sleep, but Vanost Andalancalt said that Quaraah Agaran-Foreaf looked funny and asked him what he was, and Quaraah Agaran-Foreaf dodged the question. Then we all went to bed and decided to make the rest of our decisions in the morning. These people are so cool! I hope they let me tag along.

Welcome to your campaign!
A blog for your campaign

Wondering how to get started? Here are a few tips:

1. Invite your players

Invite them with either their email address or their Obsidian Portal username.

2. Edit your home page

Make a few changes to the home page and give people an idea of what your campaign is about. That will let people know you’re serious and not just playing with the system.

3. Choose a theme

If you want to set a specific mood for your campaign, we have several backgrounds to choose from. Accentuate it by creating a top banner image.

4. Create some NPCs

Characters form the core of every campaign, so take a few minutes to list out the major NPCs in your campaign.

A quick tip: The “+” icon in the top right of every section is how to add a new item, whether it’s a new character or adventure log post, or anything else.

5. Write your first Adventure Log post

The adventure log is where you list the sessions and adventures your party has been on, but for now, we suggest doing a very light “story so far” post. Just give a brief overview of what the party has done up to this point. After each future session, create a new post detailing that night’s adventures.

One final tip: Don’t stress about making your Obsidian Portal campaign look perfect. Instead, just make it work for you and your group. If everyone is having fun, then you’re using Obsidian Portal exactly as it was designed, even if your adventure log isn’t always up to date or your characters don’t all have portrait pictures.

That’s it! The rest is up to your and your players.
